Great svc with Dr Kim Sunghae!
I had a great time..becos it was such a powerful revelation...
Was debriefing with my members that it was not just the funny examples and happy time..but it was the truth caught behind these. Dr Kim is so dependant God...even in the simplest and tiniest thing in life....when she is enjoying & relaxing! (eating, shopping...) Even then she was in prayer and used the wisdom of God! Such a woman of dependancy.......
AND of cos, her simplicity and happiness. In my opinion, i think the very reason why she can be so happy in God is becos of her simplicity....simply digest His Word..simply obey...but this was the very reason....If i can put it,
"Simplicity leads to happiness"
Aside to that, yesterday was quite bad for me..what i call rotten day lah!
- quarelled with mom in the morning
- my office pc couldn't be logged on for a while
- got our HDB queue number and it was 3 thousand plus...don't even have appointment date with them!
- when i almost finished a packet of rice, saw a baby cockroach inside....
- quarrelled with dear
despite all that, i thanked God for the day. I did something good, and I reaped the same. (: Sowed a prayer, reaped a prayer. Some new things i learnt during training ("working with youths - advanced") yesterday: - theory of consumer,believer, lifestyler
- strength-based peer supervision
quite a good training for me.. share more after i "digest" the materials..ha! mycolleagues did a great training! Sometimes i wonder when i can present/talk/give training like they do! Lolx...got a long way to learn man (: A new quote I learnt: ~Worrying is like sitting on a rocking chair - it gives you something to do, but does not get you anywhere~ I need lots of prayer...assignments due this week and exams are here! God...help me. (: |
