hello 2008!!

Woohoo!! It's a brand new year!!
Still having mixed feelings as of now. Need to pray more! Nonetheless, I'm carrying a positive spirit over!! God has been faithful & He will continue to be. =))

Had a wonderful night of thanksgiving with Pastor and KS leaders! (poor Patrick, still has to work). Photos to be uploaded soon! Stay tuned! Well, it was the first time we were so crazy in front of Pastor I guess. I think he really enjoyed our company tho. Ahaha.. Of cos rite? With me around. Wahha. I asked him when we're on our way home, "Pastor did u enjoy yourself tonight? First time seeing us so crazy rite?!" He replied, "Yaya! I enjoyed of cos. Jimmy & Yanping can really sing ah..." Haha Ping will be glad to read this. :p

Ping: How's the slippers?? Guess it's DUUPER comfortable till u wear it to sleeep rite??!!Haha
Peiling: Ya it was the first time i took pics soo many times non-stop!
Everyone: We were so high, had a hard time getting the "highness" off my mind. Ahah..
Well i'm glad we had some fun sharing and laughing during dinner too. At least it was not like "just dinner" which we initially thought it wld be. Thank God it was good! =) As usual, Ping and Peiling wld be "2008- Get attached & married la!" Ha, their usual statement.......of declaration! Good to have this confession la. Age not young already ah (in chinese!) Heeeeeeee:p

I was the "tam sim" one..made many wishes for 2008! Hee. Let it all be transformed to prayers & actions! This first half of 2008's gona be quite crazy for me. Taking 3 modules. Usually the school only allows a max of 2 for working adults, that's e cap. Well, I didn't wana carry my study for a degree over to marriage life i guess. And the drag of studying for so long. A quarter of a century! Coming to think of it, it's quite scary huh. I've lived for a quater of a century now! (Haha thanks to Mingli for that reminder!).

Quite heavy hearted actually, at the thought of having an even more intense year ahead than 2007. Can't wait for 2009 - Loads will be done by then? Amen! Graduated, married, finally settling down in my career etc. The thought of having more time for R&R, catching up & spending more time with friends & family, start planning & thinking of doing humanitarian work & business & investments, more freed up lifestyle etc etc. Haha, just have to go thru 2008 in faith!! =)

Just had some internal fight,"Lord can this cup pass from me??? Nevertheless not my will, but Yours be done." This is what the Lord reminded me of. The obedience of Christ. =)
On a side track, i'm going Shanghai, Suzhou & Hangzhou! During CNY with JK and my parents. Woohoo! Winter & snow here I come!! Pastor say must wear 5 pieces! Goodness, really ah?
Dear u better get the pills for your flu & some really thick outfits! :p Looking forward to this trip!

To end off, 2008 will be a glorious year!!! Cheers! =))
