• I was a junk whom God saw a redeeming value in.
• I'm sent back into this world to represent God and look for junks with great redeeming values.
• a $10 note is still worth the same value even at its most dirty, thorn and unpeasant state (ping u can laugh at this)
• I'm a servant who leads.
• Servant is who I am, leading is what I do.
• I'm a servant who leads where God gives me the oppportunities to lead.
• I'm not a leader who serves, I'm a servant who leads.

What powerful truth in this. Lord, change my heart and make me one. What a powerful attitude of the heart.

1. If my husband-to-be commits adultery, how would I respond? What would I do?
2. Take the question further, if he did it twice, how then would my reaction be?
3. Worst scenario, if he did it the third time, how??
4. Take it deeper, if my husband commits adultery with my good friend, how will that sound to me????
5. Even worse (in my opinion), if my husband commits adultery with a pastor that I've always looked up to a lot, my response???????
6. In what situation will I really think of committing suicide?

Of cos, no one would ever want that to happen. But how true a reality that is. We live in a broken down world, and yes, we cannot dismiss the possibilty of that happening to us. Put the questions in the context of something or someone that u hold onto most dearly in your life. What if that happens to u?

I pray: Lord, give me a larger heart - to forgive...draw me closer to You. Take away ALL that's in the way, between me and You. Let nothing and no one in this world come between us (This union I have with You, my only God and Lord). Let this measure of faith grow.............that one day, if I'm ever put to the test, I'll stand and come forth as gold. :)

For social workers and/or counselors:

1. we know that as social workers, clients' interests always comes first. But as Christian social workers, if you're in a situation when your client's interest and decision is sided towards abortion. How would you talk to the client? [conflict of values]
2. Due to the fact that youths today are involved in sexual activities at an increasingly younger age, the govt is pushing for education on safe sex to students. How then do we go into the schools and teach on topics like the use of condoms etc, without compromising our values or "promoting" or encouraging safe sex? and that abstinence is still the most ideal? We can easily reject the opportunity of putting ourselves in this dilemna by simply rejecting the invitation to the opportunity of being able to impact the lives of these youths, but do we really want to do that? That would mean we won't even have a chance to impact these lives. There will always be a domineering influence in the lives of these youths. If not us, then who? Opportuniy may be given to other ppl - which we are unsure if they are gona be +ve ones. But on the other hand, if we take up this challenge, what are the implications?
